A century-old group looking to the future
Founded in Villefranche-sur-Saône by the grandfather of Philippe GARDETTE, current CEO.
GARDETTE SA takes over PLANCHE S.A., a manufacturer of compressors and vacuum pumps, and moves into GARDETTE's current premises in downtown Villefranche sur Saône.
Philippe GARDETTE succeeds his father and takes over the management of the company. He founds LPI (La Production Industrielle) to manufacture special items for automotive parts manufacturers.
Purchase of LGC (La Goupille Cannelée) from the PSM Fixation group to complete the catalog of fasteners, transmission and assembly components, and creation of the P3G group.
Creation of GIE PFT to meet automotive demand.
Creation of subsidiary LGC Gmbh
Creation of the SPECIALFIX or Gardette Iberica subsidiary in Barcelona.
